I have actually 2401 hits on the helio supply smart range battery i have gon thru tens and tens of carts with this battary ive had it over a year which was used almost daily for that year the range of temperatures is insane and they stay true to the voltage temperature i used to have a yocan and it would say 2.5 v but it would hit hotter and run thru my carts faster with the smart range my carts dont burn thru as much i always keep it on a certain voltage when im with others the temperature lock mode really helps make sure no one changes the volts and the 30 seconds blinkers are nice i also dropped mine in the water fully submerged by accident feeding my pigs and it still works great to this day i left the hair blower on it for about 10 mins by accident trying to dry it and forgot about it and it was still working flawlessly i was out surf fishing with my friends and there was a beach torndado the sand was flying everywhere the battary and cart got all sandy and the bat was still performing great ive dropped it on concrete floors many times i always recommend this battery to my friends who ask for new bats the company is also really nice ive been talking to them for a little bit and they have shown nothing but respect i seriously recommend this battery if you are serious about enjoying quality cartridges.

I bought this battery to use with local live rosin carts, as the glass diameter is too big to fit in anything that encapsulates the cartridge at all. The Smart Range 510 is completely open, so there is no issue with different sizes. Turns out, in addition to this practical advantage – the battery works great and the ability to use with lower voltages than is typically available is really nice. Preheat mode is also a nice addition. Great device, and dealing with Helio Supply was great, awesome service, quick shipping, etc. I kind of took a gamble randomly ordering this, and am very happy with the entire experience.

I really like this battery. It’s built extremely well, and I never had any issues with broken parts even though plenty of drops. I also love how customizable it is; from the voltage range, to the screen direction, and the timeout setting. One thing I think could be improved is the actual battery itself, because it drops from 5 to 3 bars pretty quickly which seems to make the battery use less voltage, so you get less performance. And 3 bars is still 70% charged, so it feels like it could perform better at that range. Either way, that doesn’t change the fact that this battery functions very well. I’d give it a 4.8/5.

This is definitely the best small battery out right now. It quickly turned my Kodo Pro into a back up and became my main battery. Here is what I like about it:
– Charges extremely quickly
– The blinker is adjustable. This is nice if you have friends who will hit your cart but still hit blinkers. You can turn it down to like 7-10 seconds so they don’t pass your cart around and burn it; do not tell them about this 😉
– The voltage is actually accurate. I thought the Kodo was good but I’m realizing that the Kodo was running way too hot. This battery won’t burn your terps or finish the cart too quickly.
– The resistance measuring is more accurate than the one on the Kodo.
This thing is literally a better Kodo. If you like the Kodo or were planning on buying it, I would conisder this battery too. The only cons with this battery are that the screen can be a bit dim in sunlight. My first battery did break however the customer service was amazing so I can almost guarantee that you will be satisfied with this battery, ESPECIALLY if you have the Kodo.

I have used a lot of different batteries and this is definitely the best battery on the market. It has the greatest voltage range by far at 1.2-4.2 by .1 increments. Can’t get any better than this as far as dialing in voltage. Would never need to go lower or higher. Has an auto shut off feature and the preheat is great as well. with one click you go from preheat straight into the hit if you hold the click down. You can customize how long your hit will be before the battery cuts off the hit.
Another important factor with batteries is making sure you get an accurate resistance when attaching the cart. This battery always gets an accurate reading right away where as some other batteries I have used you often have to screw and unscrew the cart multiple times to get an accurate reading. So all in all this is definitely the best battery performance wise and it looks really cool with the clear front showing the control board.
A few cool things that could be added in the future would be a timer that shows how long your last hit was and a timer when preheating. Definitely worth the pick up to improve your cart experience.

So I’m very bummed out about this especially after everyone has been saying how good the Helio Smart Range is. Well let me tell you it’s not that great for the simple fact battery life is non existent on it. Opened up the package which was done really well, to a very cool looking box of the Helio Smart Range. Read directions and it says charge fully before using. I did turn in the battery to make sure it turns on which it did, saw it had 80% battery but since the directions say to fully charge it I charge it and within seconds it says 100%. To me that’s to quick to go from 80% to a 100% so I’m sure the battery isn’t very good and come to find out it isn’t. Seems like a short but from my understanding QC was so critical that it shouldn’t be an issue at all. After all the item took forever to ship cause of how critical they were of the QC.
My 2 very first puffs and it drops to 2 bars on the battery. Set it down very disappointed and it jumps to 4 bars. Take my 3rd puff and it drops to 1 bar on the battery. With those issues this makes it a zero star except for the saving grace that the 3 puffs I did take my cart tastes fantastic so that warrants 1 star.
Cant call yourself the best battery if the battery life don’t last. Waste of money.
My Kodo Pro puts the Heilo Smart Range to shame and it has the same range for adjustable volts. Only thing Kodo lacks in is giving the best taste but since the battery actually last (damn near a week at that with heavy use) I’ll stick with the Kodo Pro.
Had really high hopes for this one but it’s a failure.

This is the best battery for smoking cannabis extracts, being able to use the factory recommended voltage setting to smoke artisan cured resins is a must,, and this device allows you to do that.
I would like there to be a lower preheat setting, some of my cured resins don’t like 1.8v and I don’t want to preheat at a higher voltage because it can sometimes burn a little at the start (depending on the temperature of the room) maybe even an adjustable preheat setting would be cool… it also could act like an auto hitter if you wanted to. Bu auto hitter I mean, click twice then you can let go and just inhale instead of hold the button.

Function wise this thing is a beast! Great flavor, consistent flavor and vapor production. No burnt Terps. The temp adjustment is nice. The buttons feel good. I like the display. I like the hit counter. The only thing I would change is the aesthetics of the device, I like the more tech looking front panel. But feel as if the “starry night” or space design is a bit tacky. Definitely wouldn’t stop me from using the product, but I think visually the device could be more appealing. Overall I am super happy with it, and it will be my main battery for a long time to come.

bro, this battery is definitely a sleeper pick. i prefer this over the kodo pro by a LONG shot. really good voltage range (1.2-4.2), good airflow, produces good clouds even at lower temps, and it’s the same size and convenience that we all want in a battery with a sleek xray design on the front, and a tuff galaxy print in the back. feels pretty high quality too, def fw this heavy.

What a great product that has fulfilled a huge gap in the cartridge battery market. I was excited for the Smart Range as soon as it was announced and after several weeks of testing I can say that it lived up to the hype.
I use the battery daily and find that it has a battery life of about 200-ish puffs at about 2.7 volts. This translates to about 32 hours of use and idling. I use mine a lot, so other may have longer periods between charges.
The user interface experience is very good, the buttons work well and feel good to use, and are easy to use without looking at the Smart Range. The display is very clear and the battery level indicator saves you from ever leaving the house on a low charge. The puff counter is also very useful and interesting to a user who wishes to keep track of their consumption rate. The change to USB C as the charging port is a welcome change to the Helios battery.
The Smartrange battery fits into the hand well and is the perfect size for small or large hand users. Since the Smart Range is open top, it can fit all types of currently available 510 threaded cartridges.
The best feature of the Smart Range though of course is the variable voltage. It works exactly as described, and it has really improved the 510 threaded cartridge experience. Over the course of three cartridges I have used with the battery I was able to stop burning the extract ENTIRELY. Even if the cart started to burn, I was able to lower the voltage and immediately stop burning the cart.
The ability to lower and raise the voltage as desired has dramatically improved the end of cartridge experience, while also providing around an ADDITIONAL 100 puffs from a cart. What use to be an almost non-consumable last fourth of a cartridge is now about as pleasant as the first fourth of a cart due to the ability to change voltage.
Overall I would recommend this Smart Range 510 Battery to any consumer of 510 threaded cartridges. It truly changes the experience to be better tasting and longer lasting carts.
I plan on buying myself another one, and several for friends in the upcoming months.
